Yelp launched the Open to All attribute in 2018 in partnership with Open to All, encouraging businesses to make the commitment to creating safe, welcoming, and inclusive spaces for customers, employees, and communities.
Over half a million businesses have since activated the Open to All attribute on their Yelp Business Pages. Alongside adoption of the attribute, consumer demand has followed. The number of U.S. searches on Yelp that contain the phrase “open to all” is up more than five times last year’s levels.
To continue this movement and help businesses create and communicate an inclusive environment for employees and customers, there is a new Open to All toolkit available—especially helpful for smaller businesses that are looking for a way to start the conversation.
After activating the Open to All attribute on your Yelp Business Page, take the pledge, and explore the toolkit, which contains resources such as:
-
Email templates for customer outreach
-
Digital social media toolkit containing sample posts and graphics
-
Printable Open to All poster for employee break rooms
-
Collection of additional organizations that are offering trainings, resources, and more
Businesses that sign the pledge will also have exclusive access to a 60-minute unlearning bias training video—created by Open to All in partnership with Ralph Lauren and designed to be used as a part of your employee onboarding process.
Activate your Yelp Business Page attribute, take the pledge, and check out the new Open to All toolkit.
