Welcome to the newly redesigned Yelp for Business

Starting today, business owners will notice an entirely new Yelp for Business experience when they log in to their account. Because we know that change can be disorienting—and that we’ve all had more than our fair share of disruptive changes in recent weeks—here’s a quick overview of what’s different in the new design. 

What’s new with Yelp for Business

The new Yelp for Business experience—which is now live in our apps and at—features a modern design that’s more intuitive, faster, and more personalized. This new design is just the first step in our mission to deliver a truly customized experience that helps your business become more successful on Yelp by connecting with consumers and growing your business. 

We specifically designed the new experience to make it easier for you to update your Yelp Business Page with the information your customers care about, to understand how your page is performing, and to access resources and Yelp products that can help your business. 

Tell your story

It’s easier than ever to see how you can optimize your Yelp Page to showcase the best of your business. When you log in, you’ll notice new recommendation cards with tips for strengthening your presence on Yelp. This new feature showcases step-by-step prompts that guide you to make your page as comprehensive as possible. 

The home page also surfaces some of the questions your customers may be asking. You can answer with one click, and the relevant update will be made in the Amenities section of your page. For example, a common question in recent weeks is whether a business is offering delivery during the COVID-19 pandemic, and this new feature makes it easy for you to proactively answer that question and automatically update your Yelp Page to reflect that detail if you are.

How’s your business doing?

One of the highlights of the new design is the entirely new Business Information page, which gives you a better sense of how your live page appears to consumers and makes it easy and intuitive to make edits and improvements to your page. 

The redesigned header includes quick access to a new notification center that makes important updates available to you from every page in your account. This feed shows consumer interactions with your page, such as someone clicking through to your website or viewing the map for your business.  

Resources and products for your business

The new design includes more space to showcase resources and tools to help you promote and grow your business, from general marketing best practices to free Yelp features to paid Yelp products. Greater levels of personalization mean you’ll see content and products that are more relevant to your business. 

Part of the beauty of the new modular design is that there’s room to grow: We’re committed to continually improving the Yelp experience for business owners, and we already look forward to introducing you to what comes next.
