How to pause your Yelp ads

Everyone needs a break sometimes. If you want to stop your Yelp Ads program temporarily, eligible businesses may pause their ad and set a restart date.

To pause your Yelp Ads:

Yelp for Business app

1. Log in to the app and tap Yelp Ads at the bottom of the screen.
2. Click on the End Campaign button.
3. Click on the trash can for the Clicks Advertiser product.
4. If you have a boost promo, note that you’ll be asked to confirm that you want to lose that promo. Click Continue if you wish to proceed.
5. You’ll then see a survey asking for the reason you chose to cancel.
6. Select “My business is affected by coronavirus” as your reason for cancelling, and click next.
7. You’ll be offered the opportunity to pause your ads, and if eligible, redeem an offer if you chose to resume before a certain date.*
8. Select a resume date.
9. Click on the Pause and Redeem Offer button to confirm.
10. You will receive an email confirmation.

Yelp for Business site on desktop or mobile browser

1. Visit Yelp for Business (Billing tab).
2. Click on the Edit link for your Current Products.
3. Click on the trash can for the Clicks Advertiser product.
4. If you have a boost promo, note that you’ll be asked to confirm that you want to lose that promo. Click Continue if you wish to proceed.
5. You’ll then see a survey asking for the reason you chose to cancel.
6. Select “My business is affected by coronavirus” as your reason for cancelling, and click next.
7. You’ll be offered the opportunity to pause your ads, and if eligible, redeem an offer if you choose to resume before a certain date.*
8. Select a resume date.
9. Click on the Pause and Redeem Offer button to confirm.
10. You will receive an email confirmation.

*Businesses are only eligible to redeem the pause promotion one time. If you have paused your ads previously and received a credit, you will not be offered this one-time promo.
