Tucked away on the second floor of the historic Portland Public Market on Monument Square, Pho Huong is serving up authentic Vietnamese eats. Throughout the month of July, owner Trinh Le welcomed the local Yelp Elite Squad to try anything they wanted on her impressive menu.
Yelpers loved being able to sample everything from the lemongrass beef banh mi, to the veggie spring rolls, beef pho, chicken stir fry, shrimp fried rice, beef vermicelli, pork eggs rolls, dumplings, and BBQ pork loaded Asian street fries.
One of our favorite reviews was Karac N, who wrote, “…where has this gem been. My new favorite place by far! I ordered a shrimp phorrito. My world will never be the same!!!! Delicious shrimp, delicious broth, sticky noodles, fresh veggies, and the hot sauce — oh the hot sauce! …Slather that sauce on anything and I swear I’ll eat it. Amazing. Can’t wait to go back. Like, once a week go back. I’ll deal with hellacious parking. I’ll deal with going out of my way into Portland. I promise, you will see me here once a week… at least! Can’t wait to go back and give this place a million 5 star reviews.”
