Yelp Northern Virginia’s biscuit experience

What exactly is so comforting about a biscuit? Yelp Northern Virginia Elites explored the answer to that question for themselves at the new Preservation Biscuit Company in Falls Church!

Inside this fast-casual joint helmed by Chef Jonathan Coombs – a biscuit creator, restaurant professional and retired army verteran – find a combination of Southern flavors infused with the chef’s own kitchen flair. The result? Crispy on top (yet fluffy on the inside) biscuits, enjoyed both savory and sweet.

Select Yelp Elites were invited in for a taste of the ‘You’re a Peach’ biscuit, Preservation Biscuit Co’s take on the traditional peach cobbler. Check out what they had to say

  • The peach biscuit truly tastes like Texas and Georgia had a magical baby. The biscuits are a perfect combination of salty and sweet. Peaches were mixed in with a custard, and wow, that whipped cream was mind blowing.” – Emily M
  • A freshly baked buttermilk biscuit, quite possibly the best I’ve ever had, filled with warm peach compote and covered with a huge dollop of cool, firm whipped cream. This delicious knife-and-fork kind of sandwich was more than adequate as a somewhat indulgent breakfast.” – Bob T.
