The coronavirus pandemic has disrupted the restaurant industry in unprecedented ways and the long-term impact is still yet to be seen. While we are eager to return to normal, to dining out with friends and loved ones, we recognize we’re not there yet. The restaurant industry is facing a moment unlike any before and we recognize that this year’s Top 100 Places to Eat could not be like those we’ve done previously. That is why, for the first time ever, we are turning to the Yelp community for nominations.
Yelp’s Top 100 Places to Eat covers a wide range of places to eat — from white tablecloth to food trucks, like last year’s winner Shawarma Guys. Top 100 Places to Eat is representative of the uniqueness of our community and is powered by the people.
We want to know which restaurants you can’t wait to enjoy a night on the town at again, your new work from home lunch favorites and your favorite spots to grab dinner with friends. It can be a beloved family-friendly restaurant, your new go-to takeout spot or a local gem you’ve rediscovered in your neighborhood this year.
This year’s list will be a love letter to the restaurant industry as we celebrate beloved restaurants we want the world to know about and inspire each other to support the restaurant industry through these uncertain times. Please submit your nominations here by Monday, December 14th. All restaurant nominations must have a Yelp business page. If you’re a restaurant owner, download our Top 100 Business Owner kit here.
