Yelp’s PRIDE Continues

Pride parades around the world may be cancelled, but that does not stop the LGBTQ+ community from adapting their celebrations to the novel situation: Lesbians Who Tech have announced their (Not IRL) Pride Summit and InterPride is working on Global Pride Celebration stretching across multiple time zones.

We at Yelp also want to continue our support of the LGBTQ+ community during these uncertain times: during Pride month we will once again offer free window decals for business owners who identify as LGBTQ+ to proudly display on their storefronts. To receive the “LGBTQ+ Owned Business” decal, simply fill out this form by Sunday, June 28. The storefront stickers will be sent directly to your businesses via snail mail in the coming months.

If you are a business owner who would like to distinguish your business as a safe and welcoming place for everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, immigration status, religion or disability, we encourage you to take the Open To All business pledge. Open To All is a non-profit that aims to protect consumers from discrimination, and we are proud to partner with their organization to provide a free tool for businesses to mark themselves as “Open To All” and help consumers find them via a search filter.

On our social channels, we’ll be highlighting some of our favorite LGBTQ+ owned businesses throughout the month, so make sure to follow along on Twitter and Instagram!
