Yelp’s Cure for Cabin Fever: Slapfish

Wait. You’re telling me you can get fresh seafood in Indiana? Even in the winter?! That’s right, and Yelp Elites got the full catch at Slapfish at Yelp’s Cure for Cabin Fever: Slapfish

Yelpers were greeted with the bright and shining smiles of the owners Mark and Lauren, along with natural, fresh juices to get the night started. While talking with the owners, Yelpers were surprised to find out that Mark’s father is the owner of Broccoli BIll’s

Yelpers also learned that because Indiana is landlocked, Slapfish delivers some of the freshest, most sustainable, fast-casual seafood possible in the city. 

To put it to the test, Yelpers were given appetizers to munch on to get a taste, including lobster taquitos, shrimp cocktail, and lobster dip. All had Elites drooling, to say the least. 

Next up: the main course, and boy, did it deliver. Full-size meals, and something for everyone. The Clobster Grilled Cheese for those looking for something cozy and cheesy, the Power Bowl for those looking for something lighter and healthier, and the Traditional Lobster Roll for that classic sandwich we love. All had Elites leaving more than satisfied and happy that such a place exists in the Midwest. 

And if none of this convinces you, we’ll leave you with Yelp Elite Lara P.’s comments, “OK, I’ll start out with a bold statement: This is the best I’ve ever eaten at a Yelp Elite event! It’s not every Monday that I get to chow down on big, buttery chunks of lobster.”
