The best possible way to celebrate love? How about beer love and food truck love and puppies and board games! Yep, Montreal Yelpers made some heart-warming community love happen on a cold Wednesday in Montreal, sampling free locally brewed beers by 4 Origines and learning more about this passionate crew of indie artisans making delicious brew out in Pointe St-Charles on their rotating brewery tours. We also enjoyed noshing on a savoury spread of Lation fusion cusine (by way of New Zealand!) from Elvita’s Food Truck. Elvita’s served up glorious platters of their famous mini tequeños (cheese sticks) and crispy plantains with pico de gallo, salsa and guacamole for all guests. We can’t wait to see them rock their first full food truck season this summer!
Evivo Mirror Photobooth was there with their super fun jumbo touchscreen photobooth to document the cuteness, and cuteness did abound as guests came with all sizes of pupper!
With dogs and kids and friends and neighbours in attendance, we had a joyful cheers together, made some good vibes, and basked in a little local neighbourhood love. Because that’s what this Yelp Montreal Community and these hard-working local businesses are all about!
In order to share the love, we invited guests to bring new clean men’s underwear in sizes S,M,L and warm socks to be donated to Mission Bon Accueil as part of their “Opération bas et bobettes”, and we were lucky to have Chelsea from Mission Bon Accueil in attendance to share a bit about her work, and inspire us with ideas for future volunteer outings. Find out more about this awesome Pointe Ste Charles charity and their essential work.
