Itching to upgrade your look?

Sisters Jewelry and Gifts

I love this Tate Street shop for gifts & jewelry. They have some amusing magnets, some sunglasses, caps, handmade bicycle bracelets, & other fun things. My husband has bought me a couple of pretty silver rings here too.” – Em H

Vintage to Vogue Consignment Boutique

Jennifer, the owner, has a large selection of vintage items (clothing, handbags, shoes, accessories), as well as non-vintage, which is where vogue in the name comes from. She seeks higher end brands, but I see a ton of Talbots on the rack and sometimes lower end brand names, so there is definitely a variety.” – Beth M

Fancy a drink?

Bender’s Tavern

The food was absolutely delish. Had the fried fish…mmmm good. Anne was also very pleasant. Was told she was one of the owners.” – Christopher C.

McCoul’s Public House

Came here for brunch.  Food was really good. Great beer selection with Irish, national and local selections on draft. This is a really nice bar and restaurant with great indoor and outdoor seating options.” – Tim S.

Bull’s Tavern

This is such a relaxing and comfortable bar that specializes in excellent drinks. Most importantly cocktails and mix drinks. Mr. Huston, being such an experienced bartender, provided me with the right guidance!” – Saul C.

How about a bite to eat?

Bites and Pints Gastropub

I ordered the brisket philly and it was awesome! The meat had great flavor and the beer cheese took it to the next level. It also had a chimichurri sauce on the sandwich which was a unique and great addition.” – Mikeala B.

Mozelle’s Fresh Southern Bistro

I thoroughly enjoyed the tomato pie, I had never had one before and I must say it was absolutely divine, such a simple concept yet so tasty. Even the creamy succotash which accompanied the dish was delicious.” – Nadia J.

Thai Harmony

Tonight my husband had the Thai fried rice with beef which was delicious. We did chicken pad Thai tonight, but I think we’ll try it with beef next time, it was cooked perfectly.” – Jeanine K.

Need a little relaxation or some pain relief?

Life Abundant Chiropractic

After some paperwork she took me right back and was very hands on. I liked that particularly because she’s feeling my problem, not depending on a machine. I didn’t even have to tell her about certain problems but she found them.” – Meredith S.

Greensboro Downtown Yoga

I love this place. We dropped in on the Sunday 9:00 class. The teacher was very skilled and kept the class flowing. I felt challenged but not judged. Next time I am in town I will definitely be back.” – Melissa G.

a/perture cinema

Have always had a positive experience here.  The staff is very friendly. Nice, intimate setting to catch an independent film… This is my first year missing the RiverRun Festival.  Did I mention it’s also nice to enjoy an adult beverage with your popcorn too?!” – Kristy F.
