Milwaukee Elite Event: Eat, Drink, and Be Tacky at Blue Bat Kitchen and Tequilaria

Things got ugly on Tuesday, December 3rd. Yelp Milwaukee Elites donned their ugliest holiday apparel in celebration of the most wonderful time of the year at Blue Bat Kitchen and Tequilaria! Tacos, tequila, and tacky sweaters all around. Elites enjoyed showing off their tacky outfits and mingling with each other while enjoying delicious bites and sips throughout this festive affair.

As Elites arrived, they checked in to the Yelp event listing to receive an ugly sweater necklace (which doubled as a raffle ticket), and were given their drink tickets for a fresh made-to-order holiday cocktail and a single barrel Reposado tequila sampling.

It wasn’t long before Blue Bat’s buffet display was open for guests to dive right in, and boy did they! The menu for the evening included everything from house-made chips, guac and queso, an array of tacos, meatballs and even their famous fried Brussels sprouts! #Drooling. Elites loved the wide selection that they were able to choose from and the amazing service that went along with it. All cocktails and dishes are fresh and made from scratch. Not to mention, everything came out of the kitchen so fast! Fresh,   delicious, and fast? Yes, please! This is what makes Blue Bat a local gem.

After bites were had, it was time to see who won a prize from the holiday gift table! Numbers were selected at random, and if a guest’s number (found on the back of their necklace) was called, they were able to pick from the festively wrapped presents. From holiday socks, to City Tins and snazzy bottles of tequila, the variation of winnings was quite comical to all.

As this 5-star evening wrapped up, Elites grazed the buffet table one last time, where a new display was laid out. Holiday treats from Holey Moley for the win! No one was too full to pass up doughnut holes and eggnog cheesecakes.

A HUGE thank you to the amazing team at Blue Bat Kitchen and Tequilaria for hosting this outstanding 5-star affair! As always, thank you to Devan Shepherd for capturing the night. Relive this memorable (and ugly) evening by reading the reviews and viewing the photos.
