Culhane’s Irish Pub on Southside in Jacksonville is a great place to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, your Irish heritage, or just your love of all things Irish. This is the Culhane’s sisters second location in Jacksonville. They’ve made a name for themselves in Jacksonville’s culinary scene.
On Tuesday, September 10th, forty of the Jacksonville Yelp Elite Squad kicked off a halfway to St. Patrick’s Day Blarney Brunch, where Mary Jane, Aine, and Lynda Culhane gave our Elites a taste of Ireland, with their traditional Irish cuisine and launched their own vodka line; 5 Sisters Spirit Vodka.
Elites were treated to the sweet sounds of Celtic band, Aisling Grove serenaded Elites to some traditional Celtic tunes. Guests danced, sang, and raised a pint, as course after course of traditional Irish fare and new twists on some southern staples came out like Nana’s Sausage Rolls and Chads’ Shrimp n’ Grits.
Then a surprise twist came when the Legacy Irish Dance Academy dancers performed for the group. These young girls and lad had everyone in amazement of how quickly their feet moved to the music.
This night wasn’t all about fun, but also about helping those affected by Hurricane Dorian, Yelp Jax partnered with Action News Jax’s Convoy of Care to do a supply drive for those affected. Over a hundred items like shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, etc. were donated to those in need.
Thanks to our Event Partners:
