Detroit Elites get Cultured at Park West Gallery

On Thursday, December 5th, Detroit Elites enjoyed a private, leisurely night at Park West Gallery Museum in Southfield viewing their extensive collection of artwork in 23 exhibition galleries including old and modern masters like Picasso and Rembrandt, and contemporary artists including Romero Britto, Michael Godard, and Peter Max.

Guests will received an in-depth tour of the museum by Park West’s knowledgeable gallery director AND enjoyed a special guest appearance by local artist Tim Yanke, who shared his story about how he got started as an artist, discussed the meaning behind his unique types of artwork, and provided an exclusive demonstration of his new augmented reality artwork (that literally moves off the canvas). One lucky guest also walked away with a Yanke original piece.

Guests also enjoyed a catered spread as well as beverages to toast to that evening and a gift bag featuring a screen print of Tim Yanke’s most notable work, his representations of the U.S. flag  known as “Yanke Doodles.”
