Yelp Without Borders Raised Money & Awareness For The International Institute of Buffalo

Written by Hannah Kadryna, Yelp Marketing Assistant

Another Yelp Without Borders in the books! This annual party at the International Institute of Buffalo has become a great staple in the Yelp community, and this year brought a taste of culture and awareness to first-time Yelpers, seasoned Yelp Elite Squad, and everybody in between!

Returning vendors brought some delicious remixes to the party this year, with Hali Boyz serving up some delicious nachos, House of Hummus bringing some delicious hummus and veggie plates, and Teton on Elmwood dishing up sushi tacos by the dozen. Yelp Elites were even lucky enough to try some of Teton’s exclusive dessert, Mochi ice cream! Yelp Without Borders was also lucky to welcome new businesses to the party this year, including Yey’s Cambodian, a catering service soon-to-be restaurant, Druk Cuisine, one of Buffalo’s only Nepalese restaurants, and Smita’s Cooking Social, which offers authentic Indian cooking classes.

SATO Brewpub was also on the scene, not only offering up some tasty bites, but some of their own brews as well! Resurgence Brewery and Big Ditch Brewing Co. were also in attendance to pour some of their delicious brews for the event. Midgard Winery brought some of their delicious wine as well, including their spicy honey wine! Offering some non-alcoholic beverage options, including cold pressed juice (and delicious scones) was Ashker’s Juice Bar!

To keep everybody entertained, DJ Paul Spitale was spinning tunes all afternoon, and the caricature artist Jeremy Stock created some great sketches of our guests!

Altogether, the event raised $2,400 for the International Institute of Buffalo! Be sure to check out all of the reviews and photos! And the video recap by Wayland Media!
