“Plain and simple, this is a gorgeous place to find yourself on a spring afternoon. It’s late May, and all of the roses are in full bloom right now. I have never in my life seen so many roses in one place, and in so many varieties and colors!” – Yelper Kristen T.
“This really is an American treasure to see. We have beautiful monuments and they’re right here in DC surrounded by these Cherry Blossom trees. Nothing says spring like seeing the cherry blossoms in full bloom.” -Yelper Bill S.
“It’s a spectacular celebration of Dutch-American culture and heritage in West Michigan. After spending over 8 hours doing as much as we could, we conceded that we would have to come back for at least a second day. The events are spread out pretty judiciously through the week so no one day is too jam-packed nor sparse. The tulip plantings along the city streets and in parks were just amazing.” -Yelper Adrianne B.
“This event has been held since 1928 and is considered the largest Lei Day event in Honolulu. Beautiful leis from highly competitive folk dotted the Mauka side of the event at the lei exhibit area, eager visitors waiting to see the displays of lei making creativity.” -Yelper Ric C.
“Make sure to take the time to walk across the street ( look for the purple crosswalk) and adventure through the different lilac trees .. my favorite are the sensation bright purple with white on the edges. I love seeing all the different types and smells, so pretty. You can definitely get some amazing photos.” -Yelper Kelly S.
“In April, Spreckels Park is the site of the Coronado Flower Show (which also features a used book sale put on by the library), and in the summer there are concerts in the gazebo every Sunday evening. All in all, a very nice park for the whole family, for many reasons.” – Yelper Erin B.
“Each spring Longwood is a spectacular showcase for blooming wisteria, tulips, anemone, foxglove, and snapdragon. The Italian fountains will mesmerize as your eyes are immediately drawn to the cool blue tiles shimmering beneath the surface.” – Yelper Susanne J.
“The Crown Collective is so much more than just a place to buy beautiful flower crowns, it really is a personalized experience. I had the pleasure of having one of Carolyns beautiful flower crowns as a gift for my fiancé on the day of our engagement.” – Yelper Cipriano M.
