Last week’s Elite event at Vanillamore in Montclair was one of the sweetest that we’ve had to date. That’s because Yelpers were treated to a multi-course tasting menu that featured a variety of Vanillamore’s sweet offerings. Guests knew that they were in for a special treat when the night started off with a refreshing hibiscus lemonade and an amuse of house made ricotta and poached grapes. Although Vanillamore’s main focus is sweets their menu also has delicious savory offerings. Yelpers tasted sweet potato gnocchi, turkey meatballs and Brussels sprouts with pancetta. After that it was dessert time. And luckily for us, dessert time at Vanillamore is taken very seriously. First, Yelpers were each presented with their own dessert charcuterie board complete with chocolate salami, shortbread cookies and more. Next up was a very berry dessert flight — fruity sorbet, sweet and crunchy tartlets and a raspberry upside down cake. And then there was more. Guests got to make their own hot chocolate using Vanillamore’s homemade mix and milk. Finally, to cap off an epic night we enjoyed Vanillamore’s signature house-made marshmallows. All of Vanillamore’s dishes are freshly prepared in-house and are delicious and unique. Their attention to detail on each item served is apparent and Yelpers were lucky to attend such a special dinner. Make sure to check out photos here and the five star reviews here.
A big thanks to Vanillamore for hosting this wonderful event!
