Welcome to Yelp! Attracting new customers has never been easier now that you’ve claimed your Yelp page! Millions of people use Yelp to search for businesses every day. Update Your Business Information

Your business information is the heart of your Yelp business page. You can make updates to it in your Yelp for Business Owners account. Updating your page is a great way to attract more customers to your business. Did you know that businesses with a complete Yelp page see on average 135% more page views?

To get started, confirm that your business name, address, and phone number are all correct. You’ll also want to include your business’s website, add your hours of operation, and fill out the Specialities section. Your specialities will help consumers know more about the services and products you offer.

Add some background to your business in the History section and let your customers get to know more about you in the Meet the Owner portion of your page.

Add Photos of Your Business

People shop with their eyes, which is why adding photos to your business account is crucial! On average, businesses with at least one photo receive 140% more page views compared to businesses without any photos*. Customers love seeing what sets you apart from the competition so make sure to upload photos that best represent your business! There is no limit to the number of photos you can upload through your Yelp for Business Owners account.

More Ways to Engage with Customers on Yelp

Now that your business page is all set up, let the world know about your newly-completed page. Put a ‘Find Us On Yelp’ Sticker in your door, window, or business vehicle. You’re letting people know you’re on Yelp and that you value their feedback.

Responding to Reviews

Once the reviews start rolling in, make sure to respond! Have a satisfied customer? Thank them for their praise! It’s a great opportunity to respond publicly to let potential customers know that you strive to make your customers happy.
