London’s City Director, Alex Shebar, was invited on London Live to chat about the hot new London openings in the last month. This time, he spoke about the fantastic spots with an international flavour, from the ceviches or Peru to the cafes of Hong Kong, all located in England. Check out the video above, or for the fun cheat sheet notes, here are all the locations you should check out:
Butifarra – This spot specialises in Peruvian street food, everything from Peruvian sandwiches to ceviches and, of course, their shushi/ceviche hybrid: Cevushi.
Samarkand – This new restaurant does a modern take on Uzbek cuisine with an extensive collection of caviar and vodka.
Sagardi – Although this spot exists all over the world, this is the first spot in the UK. It will fly in daily the best food from San Sebastian, so you know it will be the best of Basque.
Blanchette East – The original Blanchette served up small plates of French cooking and the new one will have additional tastes of South France and North Africa.
Cha Chaan Teng – This Chinese restaurant is based around the cha chaan teng cafes in Hong Kong, serving up fast, delicious meals.
Calcutta Street – Expect a home-style Bengali experience with some authentically fresh meals.
