It’s that time of year again where we celebrate Art in it’s many forms within the SALA Festival. To kick off the 2016 festival, the Yelp Adelaide Elite Squad took to the streets on 4 August 2016 to attend three opening exhibitions.
We had a look at Graduated Tones a celebration of the Adelaide College of the Arts Photography Department. Then onto The Beauty of Decay an imagined tiny world based around the filth, git and remnants left behind by people in the street. How I Felt an autobiographical journey exploring the artist’s reactions to life mirrored in felt.
We ended the tour in style by learning the art of cocktail making presented by the amazing Owen Colin and Nick Focareta from Mr Goodbar. With a tongue in cheek quasi-spiritual vibe, Mr Goodbar has become a shrine to the best kinds of sin. Featuring a handsome list of over 120 cocktails and always the option to create your own. This award winning team really demonstrated the art of the cocktail and that they are some of the best in the biz.
Check out the fun and excitement of epic proportions here in the reviews and photos.
