Take Two! Yelp’s Second U.S. Ad Campaign Goes Beyond Restaurants

Yelp is all about connecting people with great local businesses to meet all their needs and make life more awesome. So naturally, we want to increase awareness of all the types of businesses you can find on Yelp. We recently rolled out our second round of TV and digital ads featuring our go-to comedy connoisseur, Ben Sinclair from HBO’s “High Maintenance.” This time around, we want to show the world that Yelp is more than just food porn pics and restaurant reviews (though we love those too!). We are here to assist with all of your everyday needs and point you in the right direction to find the best in the business, whether that be a new medical specialist, travel abode or meditation station.

Sinclair perfectly embodies our useful-funny-cool vibe by showing off how Yelp can help you find the best places to make your life a little easier so you can feel a whole lot better.

This time around, you might catch a Yelp ad on your favorite social channels, too. Next time you’re scrolling through Instagram, keep an eye out for the yoga instructor from hell. No one wants to do a “downward facing failure” anytime soon.

We’re also launching a pilot ad campaign in Germany, one of Yelp’s largest international markets, to raise consumer awareness. The market is prime for some education on how Yelp can help get you out of a sticky situation, or ideally prevent it in the first place.

So whether you’re in a bit of a pickle or just looking for a new find, turn to Yelp. We know just the place.
