What happens when one community mourns another and wants to do something to help? Like the rest of the world, Columbus had a collective heartache for the victims and families of the Orlando Pulse tragedy, and we decided to honor and celebrate them with the most fitting way we knew — by dancing. With only five days of planning, friends and local businesses came together to host Dance For Columbus, a 500-person dance party in the streets of Downtown Columbus. Our hearts were filled with joy as we finished the dances our Orlando brothers and sisters couldn’t, and we raised $6000 for the Pulse Victims Fund.
