Columbus Dances For Orlando

Dance For Orlando Blog Crop

What happens when one community mourns another and wants to do something to help? Like the rest of the world, Columbus had a collective heartache for the victims and families of the Orlando Pulse tragedy, and we decided to honor and celebrate them with the most fitting way we knew — by dancing. With only five days of planning, friends and local businesses came together to host Dance For Columbus, a 500-person dance party in the streets of Downtown Columbus. Our hearts were filled with joy as we finished the dances our Orlando brothers and sisters couldn’t, and we raised $6000 for the Pulse Victims Fund. Read the beautiful article from Columbus Underground and check out these photos to relive the magical night.
